It is the corporate policy of Preamble Properties Finance Limited ("Preamble", "We" or "Our") to respect and safeguard the privacy of an individual's personal data. Preamble is bound by the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("the Ordinance") and other applicable laws protecting privacy. Compliance with the Ordinance is the responsibility of every staff member of the Company.

Purpose of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be used for the following purposes:

a. processing loan application;

b. confirming the identity of the data subject;

c. facilitating communications between you and Preamble;

d. for direct marketing purposes, such as sending you information, newsletters and other materials about Preamble (please see further details in "Direct Marketing" below);

e. promoting our activities and events;

f. for our general business operations and record; and

g. to the extent required by law.

If you choose not to provide certain personal data to us, we may not be able to provide you with the information or services you require. We regard the security of your personal data as a priority and we will reasonably protect it.

Types of Personal Data

Preamble collects the following types of personal data:

a. Your personal contact information such as your name, telephone numbers, email address and mailing address;

b. Unique identifiers such as your HKID and passport number;

c. Your business information such as company name and business title;

d. Your financial status information; and

e. Your property information.

Transfer of Personal Data

Preamble may transfer your personal data to third parties, as follows:

i. law firms, financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, property agencies, financial planning companies, property valuation companies and/or capital management service companies; and

ii. government or statutory authorities, institutions or organizations;

iii. courts, tribunals and/or any parties involved in legal proceedings;

iv. third parties where you have otherwise consented; and

v. third parties as otherwise required or authorised by law.

Direct Marketing

Preamble may use your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. For the purpose of direct marketing, Preamble intends to use your personal contact information such as your name, address, phone numbers and/or email address.

You can always opt-out from receiving marketing information from Preamble by informing our Customer Service Department in writing.

Access to and Correction of Personal Data

You are entitled to request access to and to correct personal data held by Preamble about you. As permitted by the Ordinance, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for complying with your data access request.
